Indian Fighter Jets Bomb Pakistani Air Force Bases in a “Swift, Calibrated Response”

India has launched precise airstrikes on Pakistan Air Force stations in Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, and Rahim Yar Khan in retaliation for Pakistan’s drone attacks throughout the western sector. The Sialkot aviation base, a radar facility at Pasrur, and Pakistan’s military sites in Sukkur and Chunia were also targeted.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said Pakistan was still provoking India with its aggressive acts along its western border while speaking at a ministerial briefing with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi.

According to her, Pakistan targeted civilian neighborhoods and military infrastructure with fighter jets, long-range missiles, loitering munitions, and unmanned combat aerial vehicles. The majority of the vectors and these dangers were successfully eliminated by the Indian military. However, the commander noted that very minor damage was done to the troops and equipment at the Indian Air Force stations in Bhuj, Adampur, Pathankot, and Udhampur.
She called Pakistan’s strike on civilian locations, including a medical center and school premises, a “deplorable” and “cowardly” behavior.

“The Indian Air Force responded quickly and strategically, launching precision strikes only on designated military targets. These comprised places for storing weapons, radar stations, command and control centers, and technical infrastructure. Precision weaponry launched from our fighter aircraft into the air was used to engage Pakistani military targets at Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunia. Precision munitions were also used to attack the Pasrur radar facility and the Sialkot aviation base. India made sure there was as little collateral damage as possible while executing these responses,” Wing Commander Singh stated.

The Air Force commander pointed to Pakistan’s nefarious disinformation effort, including allegations that India’s S-400 air defense system at Adampur, airfields at Suratgarh and Sirsa, Brahmos station at Nagrota, and the forward ammunition storage at Chandigarh had been destroyed. “India unequivocally rejects these false narratives being spread by Pakistan,” she stated.

According to the officer, Pakistan has been heavily shelling civilian areas along the Line of Control. She claimed that the Indian Army’s response was “effectively and proportionately”

In an apparent attempt to intensify the conflict, the Pakistani military has been seen advancing its forces into forward regions. The Indian military is still quite operationally prepared. Every hostile action has been successfully repelled and dealt with suitably. The Indian military reaffirms its commitment to non-escalation, as long as the Pakistani military does the same,” she said.

Additionally, Wing Commander Singh displayed time-stamped photos of military installations that contradict Pakistan’s assertions that these air force locations were attacked.
