Rumble Cloud Partners with TRON DAO to Advance Internet Decentralization

Rumble Cloud, the infrastructure division of video platform Rumble, has announced a strategic partnership with TRON DAO, one of the world’s largest decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). The collaboration is focused on enhancing internet decentralization by integrating TRON’s blockchain ecosystem with Rumble Cloud’s censorship-resistant and scalable infrastructure.

Supporting TRON’s Decentralized Infrastructure

In the initial phase of the partnership, Rumble Cloud will provide TRON DAO with access to its suite of cloud services. These include virtual machines, object and block storage, load balancing, and private cloud capabilities. Rumble Cloud presents itself as a decentralized alternative to traditional cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, offering flexible and independent infrastructure designed for projects that prioritize free expression and decentralization.

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski emphasized the importance of blockchain and crypto in building a decentralized internet. He expressed pride in TRON’s decision to partner with Rumble, describing it as a step toward a long-term collaboration.

TRON founder Justin Sun echoed these sentiments, stating that the platform was built on a vision of an open, censorship-resistant internet owned by its users. The alliance with Rumble Cloud, he said, furthers that vision.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino also voiced support for the partnership in a public statement, highlighting the importance of decentralized infrastructure in the blockchain ecosystem.

Strengthening TRON’s Technical Backbone

The announcement follows TRON’s recent rise to the top position in the global stablecoin market, particularly in USDT (Tether) circulation. As of May 2025, TRON accounts for over 63% of all Tether transactions, representing more than $150 billion in volume. The network also boasts over 308 million user accounts, 10 billion transactions, and $23 billion in total value locked (TVL).

With such scale, TRON requires robust, enterprise-grade infrastructure to support its operations. By leveraging Rumble Cloud’s high-performance platform, the network aims to reduce centralized points of failure and reinforce its decentralization goals.

A Model for the Future of Web3 Hosting

The partnership signals a growing demand for Web3-native infrastructure solutions that reflect the principles of decentralization and user sovereignty. While many blockchain networks continue to rely on centralized hosting providers, TRON’s shift to Rumble Cloud could serve as a model for others seeking greater independence and resilience.

Given Rumble Cloud’s background in managing high-volume video streaming, it is well-positioned to handle the data-heavy demands of blockchain networks that prioritize uptime and resistance to censorship.
