According to Peter Schiff, he is the one who “best understands.” With its “Modest Booth,” Bitcoin is poised to dazzle attendees at the crypto conference.
On Monday, economist Peter Schiff declared that he will be taking part in the three-day Bitcoin BTC/USD -1.00 + Free Alerts will offer “contrarian opinions” on the top cryptocurrency at the 2025 conference in Las Vegas. What transpired was that Schiff posted a photo of himself about to board an aircraft on X.

Peter Schiff added cheekily, “I’m heading to Las Vegas for the Bitcoin conference this morning, where, ironically, I’ll probably be the speaker who understands Bitcoin the best.” Curiously, he was sporting a cap that read “Make Bitcoin Great Again.”
I think presenting opposing views would be better. When an X user protested his attendance at the meeting, Schiff said, “What good is an eco chamber?” At the conference, he said, he would “Bury” Bitcoin.
Schiff posted a photo of his “modest” booth at the Bitcoin 2025 exhibit hall after arrival. “Perhaps I’ll have the fancy booth by the time Bitcoin crashes for good.”
Why It Matters: Peter Schiff has long criticized anything related to cryptocurrency, thus his attendance at the Bitcoin conference is important.
Because he keeps bringing up the coin in his X posts, a few of Bitcoiners have accused him of engaging in engagement farming. Despite his outspoken criticism on social media, his detractors think he secretly owns Bitcoin. Schiff has refuted these allegations.
The Venetian Convention Center will host the three-day Bitcoin 2025 conference starting on Tuesday. Prominent speakers at this year’s event include Vice President JD Vance, Eric Trump, Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy, and executive vice president of The Trump Organization.
Price Action: According to Benzinga Pro statistics, Bitcoin was trading at $109,141.34 at the time of writing, down 0.52% over the previous day.
