The 2025 Chromebook CX14 has been launched by ASUS, expanding its lineup of Chromebooks in India. The new device, aimed mainly at students and teachers, is designed to offer portability, durability, and everyday computing capabilities without breaking the bank. Equipped with an Intel Celeron N4500 processor, the ASUS Chromebook CX14 operates on ChromeOS, a lightweight operating system tailored for easy access to Google’s productivity tools.

Pricing and Availability The ASUS Chromebook CX14 is available in two different configurations. The entry-level version comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage and is priced at Rs. 18,990. The 128GB eMMC storage variant can be purchased for Rs. 20,990. Both versions can be bought on Flipkart, and another model will soon be released on Amazon.

ASUS Chromebook CX14: Design and Main Characteristics

The Chromebook CX14 was designed with portability in mind by ASUS. This device has a weight of only 1.39 kg and boasts a minimalistic design with a paint finish that resists wear. The chassis claims to comply with US military-grade durability standards, implying it can endure the challenges of everyday use. With its 14-inch full HD display, the Chromebook is perfect for studying and entertainment alike. The screen hinge allows for rotation of up to 180 degrees, enabling users to lay the laptop flat on surfaces when necessary.

The machine runs on an Intel Celeron N4500 processor, which powers it under the hood. Moreover, the ASUS Chromebook CX14 operates on ChromeOS, giving users access to Google Workspace applications and offering 100GB of cloud storage on Google Drive. These machines are aimed at gamers and professionals who require powerful hardware, high refresh-rate displays, ample RAM, and fast storage.
