Cryptocurrency Price Today Bitcoin Increases Above $85,000
The world’s oldest and most valuable cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC), bounced back over the weekend and crossed the $85,000 barrier early on Monday. According to CoinMarketCap statistics, the overall Market Fear & Greed Index was 29 (Fear) out of 100, which put other well-known altcoins, such as Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC), in the green. With a 24-hour increase of almost 12 percent, the Flare (FLR) token emerged as the biggest gainer. With a nearly 88 percent 24-hour loss, Mantra (OM) emerged as the largest loser.
At the time of writing, the total value of the global cryptocurrency market was $2.69 trillion, representing a 0.16 percent 24-hour loss.
Bitcoin (BTC) Price Today
According to CoinMarketCap, the price of bitcoin was $85,014.88, representing a 0.28 percent 24-hour increase. Indian exchanges reported that the cost of bitcoin was Rs 72.56 lakh.
Ethereum (ETH) Price Today
At the time of writing, the price of ETH was $1,640.65, representing a 1.55 percent 24-hour rise. In India, the price of Ethereum was Rs 1.39 lakh.
Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Today
DOGE registered a 24-hour jump of 1.05 percent, as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.1670. Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 14.16.
Litecoin (LTC) Price Today
The 24-hour surge in Litecoin was 2.07 percent. It was trading at $79.38 at the time of writing. In India, the price of LTC was Rs 6,695.84.
Ripple (XRP) Price Today
XRP price stood at $2.15, seeing a 24-hour gain of 0.20 percent. Ripple price in India stood at Rs 183.79.
