India Destroys Terrorist Launchpads Near the Line of Control, Army Posts Video

Several terrorist launchpads close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir have been demolished by the Indian Army. The Ministry of Defense stated on Saturday that the targeted strikes were a reaction to a series of drone assaults and cross-border escalations that Pakistan had started in recent days.

Video footage of Friday’s precision attacks was released by the Army. Due to their involvement in facilitating infiltration and organizing terror strikes against Indian security personnel and citizens, the targeted locations had been monitored for a considerable amount of time.

“The Indian Army’s swift and decisive action has dealt a significant blow to terrorist infrastructure and capabilities,” the army stated in a statement.

The military reaction comes after Pakistan attempted several drone operations in Punjabi and Jammu & Kashmir cities. Sources claim that the drones, which were identified as Byker YIHA III kamikaze drones of Turkish origin, were launched with high-explosive payloads intended to kill civilians in crowded urban areas, such as Amritsar.

Within seconds of entering Indian airspace, the drones were neutralized in midair by India’s integrated Air Defence (AAD) system. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi briefed reporters in Delhi on Pakistan’s attempts to strike Indian installations.

Around 1:40 AM on May 9, Colonel Qureshi verified that the Pakistani military had fired a fast-moving missile toward an Indian air facility in Punjab. Pakistani jets and hovering munitions simultaneously targeted military installations in Udhampur, Avantipura, and Srinagar.

India vehemently denied Pakistani allegations of significant damage to its military equipment, but acknowledged that 26 sites were the target of Pakistani drones, missiles, loitering munitions, and airstrikes in the early hours of Saturday.
