iPhone 17 Pro Design, Camera Leaked: India May See Higher Prices This Year
The global launch of the iPhone 17 series is scheduled for September 2025. It is anticipated that the iPhone 17 series will include four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. It is reported that Apple will stop producing the iPhone 17 Plus, probably because of reduced consumer interest and sales performance issues. Some leaks suggest that Apple might redesign the lower part of the iPhone 17 Pro models, integrating a new combination of metal and glass into the design
iPhone 17 Pro design:
Images that seem to showcase a mock-up of the iPhone 17 Pro have been shared by trustworthy Apple leaker Majin Bu. The prototype showcases a reconfigured camera module that extends the full width of the device, taking up nearly the entire upper portion of the back panel.
Similar to previous image leaks that revealed the anticipated design of the iPhone 17 Pro models, the recently appeared dummy units also suggest that Apple intends to keep the current camera ring configuration for the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max successors. The enlarged camera housing seems to have the LiDAR sensor and LED flash placed on its right side.
iPhone 17 Pro camera:
It has been reported that Apple is looking to enhance the telephoto lens of the iPhone 17 Pro series with a 48-megapixel sensor. If this is implemented, it would result in all three rear cameras having a resolution of 48MP. With such an improvement, image quality could become sharper, zooming could produce better clarity, and details in long-distance shots could be more refined. Nonetheless, it remains uncertain if Apple plans to update the current 5x zoom feature in the Camera app.
iPhone 17 Pro performance:
It is rumored that Apple will use a vapor chamber thermal management system for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, replacing the current graphite sheet setup used for heat dissipation. This change would put Apple in line with a number of Android manufacturers that have already adopted this advanced cooling technology. The change is thought to be motivated by the thermal requirements of the forthcoming A19 Pro chip, which is anticipated to produce considerable heat during high-performance activities like AI calculations and graphics-heavy tasks.
iPhone 17 Pro India price:
This year, various factors are anticipated to affect the pricing strategy for the iPhone 17 lineup. According to preliminary assessments, the standard iPhone 17 may debut with a starting price of Rs 79,999, whereas the newly launched iPhone 17 Air could have a price of Rs 89,999. The expected price of the iPhone 17 Pro is approximately Rs 1,39,900, while the premium Pro Max variant may be priced near Rs 1,64,900. Prices are likely to increase slightly across the board, mainly because of higher manufacturing and component costs.
