The launch of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and Ace 5 Ultra is confirmed for next week.

Two new versions of the OnePlus Ace 5 series are planned. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and the regular Ace 5 were part of the lineup, which was first shown in China in December 2024. The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and Ace 5 Ultra smartphones will shortly join them. The corporation has revealed the specifics of their chipset and formally hinted at their impending introduction. OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra Launch

The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and the OnePlus Ace 5 “Extreme Edition” phone will be released in China sometime next week, which is any time between May 19 and May 25, according to a Weibo post from OnePlus. Soon, the business should disclose the precise launch date.

English-language marketing for the OnePlus Ace 5 “Extreme Edition” is anticipated to use the “Ultra” name. A MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC is confirmed to power the phone, which is tipped to create “a new upper limit to the industry’s gaming experience.”

In the meantime, the newly revealed 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor will power the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition. Alongside the Indian version of the Realme GT 7, which is set to arrive in India on May 27, it will be among the first smartphones to employ the processor. It has been hinted that the next OnePlus phone will cost less than CNY 2,500, or about Rs. 29,700.

The Oppo China e-store and a few other online merchants are now accepting pre-orders for the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra versions in China. It has been revealed that both phones come pre-installed with ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15.

Notably, the existing OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition chipset, respectively.
