Nothing Phone 3 May Mirror Phone 3a Pro’s Rear Design
It is reported that images showcasing the design of the forthcoming Nothing Phone 3 have appeared online. The Verge’s report states that the images show the Nothing Phone 3 will feature a triple camera configuration on its rear, arranged in a way similar to that of the Phone 3a Pro released earlier this year.
The British consumer tech brand has already announced that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone 3, will be released on July 1.
Nothing Phone 3: Expected design
The purported images of the Nothing Phone 3 show the design of the smartphone’s back panel. Apart from the camera layout, it indicates that Nothing will carry on with the transparent back design. The images further illustrate the absence of Glyph lights at the back, aligning with Nothing’s earlier assertion, “We killed the Glyph Interface.”
Although Nothing has suggested that the Glyph light will be substituted with a dot-matrix display like those found on ASUS ROG phones, it does not appear in the images that have emerged.
What to expect from Nothing Phone 3
During the Android Show: I/O Edition hosted by Google, Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing, provided a preview of the forthcoming Phone 3. Despite the design being hidden from view, Pei referred to it as the brand’s first “true flagship,” signaling a move toward high-end materials like glass and metal.
He suggested a significant price hike, estimating that the new phone could be priced at about £800 (around Rs 90,000)—nearly double the launch price of the Phone (2), which debuted in 2023 at Rs 44,999.
Regarding the specifications, the Nothing Phone 3 is anticipated to feature a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 3,000 nits. It can utilize either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the newer Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, along with a maximum of 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The phone may include a triple-camera system with a 50MP main sensor, as well as a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The Phone is expected to include a 5,000mAh battery with possible support for 50W wired and 20W wireless charging.
