Pahalgam attack: Three more terrorists’ homes are demolished in south Kashmir
April 26, Srinagar: Following the Pahalgam attack, the government of Jammu and Kashmir destroyed three more suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists’ residences in Pulwama, Shopian, and Kulgam in South Kashmir, according to Times Now. This makes a total of five terrorist homes destroyed in the last 24 hours.

The three homes the government destroyed belonged to Zahid Ahmed of Kulgam, Shahid Ahmad Kuttay of Shopian, and Ahsan Sheikh of Pulwama.
Ahsan was reportedly one of three Lashkar Overground Workers from Kashmir who gave the Pakistani terrorists in the Pahalgam terror attack direct and logistical support.
Ahmed and Kuttay are charged with engaging in anti-national actions for the previous three to four years.
Prior to this, officials on Friday detonated the homes of Adil Thoker and Asif Sheikh, two additional OGWs from Kashmir who took part in the Pahalgam attack assault.
However, authorities made sure the family members had left the houses prior to the demolitions. In order to prevent collateral damage to neighboring properties, the houses were reportedly destroyed in precise strikes.
According to a J&K government official, “this action is aimed at disincentivizing local terrorism or any kind of support to terror.” It serves as a sobering warning to young people in the area that their families would suffer greatly if they take up a gun and join the terrorist organization. Additionally, government positions, police clearances, passports, and other perks will not be granted to their family.
This is all part of the Centre’s and J&K administration’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism,” the official added.
