Poco India CEO teases Poco F7 Ultra launch, which Poco F7 is anticipated to launch with
According to a new teaser released by Poco India CEO Himanshu Tandon, the Poco F7 Ultra may not launch in the Indian market, despite previous rumors to the contrary. Tandon posted a picture of himself on X, holding the same phone to his ear as though he were on the phone, while standing in front of a Poco F7 Ultra poster. The message on the post is “Knock Knock!!” This not only implies that the Poco F7 Ultra will be available in India, but it also raises the possibility of a quick launch. The Poco F7 Ultra has already made its debut on the international scene.

Reports indicate that the Poco F7 ultra launch will visit India in addition to the Poco F7 Ultra. According to reports, the Poco F7 was seen on the BIS certification website earlier this week. This certification is required by brands to launch a smartphone in India, and it suggests that the handset is currently being prepared for release. Poco also introduced the Poco F7 Pro in China. As of right now, there are no rumors that the Pro model will be arriving in India.
Since the phones have already been released on the international market, we may already be aware of all other details about them, even though we are still awaiting confirmation and an official launch date for the Poco F7 Ultra (and hopefully the Poco F7).
We know that the Poco F7 Ultra has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Dolby Vision, and compatibility for HDR10+ based on its global specifications. A Poco Shield Glass is used on the screen. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and the most recent HyperOS 2 interface, which is based on Android 15, power the Poco F7 Ultra.
A 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel floating telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 32-megapixel ultra-wide camera make up the Poco F7 Ultra’s triple rear camera configuration. There is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies.
The gadget has a 5,300mAh battery and supports 50W wireless charging in addition to 120W wired charging, which is incredibly quick. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, UFS 4.1 storage, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP68 grade for dust and water resistance are further features.
Since the Poco F7 series mainly consists of the Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro in international markets, the Poco F7 characteristics are currently unknown. But according to rumors, the Poco F7 will probably be the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro’s rebranded version, which is anticipated to make its Chinese debut shortly. According to rumors, Qualcomm’s most recent Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset would be included in the gadget. It might have a metal frame, a glass back, and a display with 1.5K resolution. Its huge 7,550mAh battery and 90W rapid charging are reportedly among its best characteristics.
