Price of Cryptocurrency Today, March 28: Bitcoin Falls Below $87,000
The oldest and most valuable cryptocurrency in the world, Bitcoin (BTC), resumed its downward trend early Friday, falling below the $87,000 level. According to CoinMarketCap statistics, the overall Market Fear & Greed Index was 33 (Fear) out of 100, which put other well-known altcoins, such as Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC), in the red overall. The Cronos (CRO) token became the greatest gainer, with a 24-hour climb of roughly 10 percent. Immutable (IMX) lost around 9% in 24 hours, making it the most significant loser.
When writing, the worldwide cryptocurrency market capitalization was $2.86 trillion, representing a 0.14 percent 24-hour loss.
