Galaxy Z Fold 7: What to Expect
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to feature a larger 8-inch internal AMOLED display, up from 7.6 inches on its predecessor, and a 6.5-inch outer screen. Both displays are likely to support dynamic 120Hz refresh rates for smoother visuals.
Powering the Fold 7 could be a customized Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, fine-tuned for Samsung’s software stack. A key highlight is the rumored 200MP primary camera, possibly borrowed from the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra, alongside a 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP telephoto lens. Samsung may also replace the under-display inner selfie camera with a punch-hole design for better clarity, while retaining the 10MP external selfie camera.
The device is expected to launch with Android 16 and One UI 8, deeply integrated with Galaxy AI tools optimized for foldable usage. While the 4,400mAh battery remains unchanged, efficiency improvements are anticipated through the next-gen Snapdragon chip.
Galaxy Z Flip 7: Refined, More Powerful
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumored to sport a nearly bezel-less outer OLED display, drawing comparisons to the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. Its rear dual-camera system will reportedly be embedded directly into the cover screen via a dual punch-hole design, accompanied by an LED flash.
Color options may include Blue Shadow, Coral Red, and Jet Black.
Inside, the Flip 7 is expected to feature a 6.8-inch foldable AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It may run on either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Samsung’s own Exynos 2500, depending on the market, and offer 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage options.
Camera-wise, leaks suggest a powerful dual 50MP rear setup, and a 12MP front camera for selfies. The device is expected to house a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, and will also run Android 16 with One UI 8, fully leveraging Galaxy AI for enhanced productivity and foldable-specific features.
With Galaxy AI, premium hardware upgrades, and new design refinements, Samsung’s next-gen foldables are poised to set a new benchmark in the foldable smartphone market. All eyes now turn to July 9.
