Asus Launches new AI Laptop Series in India, check details

In India, Asus has unveiled its new ExpertBook P series of laptops, promoting them as business-grade gadgets. The company claims that the three models in the lineup—the entry-level P1, mid-range P3, and premium P5—combine security, durability, and AI-enhanced productivity features. From April 21, 2025, these laptops will only be sold on Flipkart. The enterprise-focused security features and military-grade durability certifications of the series are highlighted by the business as significant selling advantages.

Asus claims that the laptops are put through a rigorous testing process for actual business use cases. In addition to delivering business-friendly purchasing alternatives like GST-compliant invoicing and video consultations, Flipkart is launching many purchase incentives, such as temporary discounts and warranty extensions.

Asus ExpertBook P series: Price and availability

Flipkart’s primary platform and its Flipkart Minutes quick-commerce service will offer the Asus ExpertBook P series in India in a few places. The base P1 model costs Rs 39,990, the P3 model starts at Rs 64,990, and the top-tier P5 model costs Rs 94,990. With these costs, the laptops fall into the mid-to-premium business notebook market.

“We found that there is a lack of optimal Product, Service, and Enterprise Solution for small businesses and professionals that can elevate their productivity and most of them are still buying laptops not designed for business or professional use,” stated Rex Lee, Vice President, Head of Asus APAC, Commercial PC Business.

We are pleased to provide the ExpertBook P Series, designed to help businesses operate without worry. He continued, “With this new lineup, every Business and Professional now has a dependable partner by their side to enable them to enhance their Productivity and Experience worry-free product Usage and Support Experience.”

Customers can receive discounts of up to Rs 3,000 on purchases during the launch promotions, which run from April 21 to April 27. Furthermore, free two-year extensions for both regular warranty and accidental damage insurance are being given to customers who buy between April 21 and April 23; however, these deals are contingent on stock availability. With business-specific features like various payment choices, GST billing for corporate purchases, and live video product demonstrations for prospective customers, Flipkart is helping to facilitate the launch.

Asus ExpertBook P series: Specs and features

The three versions of the Asus Launches new AI Laptop come in a variety of combinations. The flagship P5 has two PCIe 4.0 SSD slots, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and Intel’s most recent Core Ultra 7 processors with integrated Arc graphics.

The 13th Gen Intel Core H-series processors used in the P3 and P1 models enable up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, allowing for comparable storage expandability.

Throughout the range, battery performance has been given top priority. Asus claims that the P5 model’s 63Wh battery can run for up to 20 hours. All models have a 65W charger that can power other USB-C compatible devices and offer full-range USB-C charging (5V-24V).

Durability promises include spill-resistant keyboards, reinforced I/O ports, and hinge longevity (50,000 open/close cycles), as well as MIL-STD-810H military certification spanning more than 20 tests. Webcam privacy shutters, self-healing BIOS, hardware-based TPM 2.0 encryption, and a one-year McAfee+ Premium subscription are among the security measures.

FHD and 2.5K resolution IPS panels with brightness levels of 300 nits and higher are available as display options. With a wide range of service options, including on-site support for over 14,900 pin codes and optional three-year warranty extensions, Asus is supporting the series.

Several AI-powered features targeted at business users have been added by the company, such as call noise cancellation, camera upgrades for video conferencing, and meeting transcribing services in more expensive models. These complement more traditional corporate laptop features like Kensington lock slots and fingerprint readers.
