POCO F7 with 7550 mAh battery may launch in India soon
It seems that POCO is gearing up to introduce its flagship model, the POCO F7, in India. A new smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been teased on its official X (formerly Twitter) account. The device features an enormous 7,550 mAh battery, and the indication is that it is the forthcoming F7. The smartphone has been seen on multiple benchmark platforms, such as Geekbench, and reports indicate that it has similar battery specifications.
It is anticipated that the POCO F7 will be a rebranded variant of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which debuted in China earlier this year. According to industry reports, the launch window is expected to be in the third or fourth week of June.
The teaser suggests that the POCO F7 will feature a 7,550mAh battery, which is probably the largest battery ever found in a commercially available smartphone. A report from GizmoChina states that the battery can last up to 2.18 days with moderate use and still retain 80 percent health after 1,600 charging cycles. The device will likely support 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
The phone might be available in at least two color variants upon launch. It is anticipated that one of the variants will have a completely black exterior, along with a dual-camera module shaped like an oval and positioned horizontally, a vertical LED strip, and the POCO logo in the lower left corner. The alternative version could feature a dual-tone finish in either black or silver, with the logo located at the bottom right. Additionally, POCO might launch a special edition designed specifically for the Indian market.
Regarding hardware, rumors suggest that the POCO F7 will come with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen boasting a refresh rate of 120Hz.
It will probably utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, combined with as much as 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The F7 is anticipated to feature a dual rear camera configuration for photography, comprising a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It may feature a 20MP selfie camera on the front, ideal for video calls and creating content.
